Thoughtful Branches Bundle - Limited Edition for Aug - Christmas in July 2

For this Christmas in July Christmas card,  I combined the upcoming August Thoughtful Branches set with The Wilderness Awaits. Everything is silver heat embossed. You will have to forgive my use of Christmas sentiments that are no longer available. Of the Christmas stamps I have, all the sentiments where too large. I'm looking forward to more Christmas sets in September.

I love the new Mini Pom Pom trim, it looks like little mini snow balls...

Below is a close up that shows better the water colouring of the horizon with Soft Sky using the wonderful Aqua Painters Also, I used Clear Wink of Stella on the fox. Though it is difficult to see in the photo.

The side view, below, shows the whole panel is popped up with dimensionals, as well as the sentiments and fox.

For the inside, rather than silver heat emboss again, I stamped with Smoky Slate and again used the Aqua Painter with Soft Sky.

For the next card I will use another stamp/s in this set. Wondering what it will be? Check in tomorrow to find out.

Jason's Birthday - Another 'The Wilderness Awaits' Card

Today I will will be busy unpacking and settling back into home life after the wedding in Boise, ID. For those of you that attend my classes, I'm sure I will be telling you all about the occasion. This is still a scheduled post, and possibly tomorrow I will have something new to add for you.

Before going to Boise, I made all my children and grand children's birthday cards to bring along with me to hand deliver them. My eldest son has his birthday the beginning of July, so I decided to use my new "The Wilderness Awaits" stamp set again. I hope you don't mind. I also used the "Botanical Builder" die set.

For the coloured corners, I placed Post-It Notes diagonally across the card and sponged Chocolate Chip ink on the corners. When you place another layer of cardstock over it, you get the look of oversized photo corners.

To colour in the fox I used a Q-Tip with Chocolate Chip and Cajun Craze ink pads. The grass was coloured with Wild Wasabi and Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Markers. I also used the Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker for the faux stitching

On the inside just a simple frame of faux stitching and a partial stamp of the fox again.

June Masculine Card Class - The Wilderness Awaits

It's that time of year when I have a Masculine Card Class! Father's Day is near, and makes it a great time to get together to create masculine Birthday cards and Father's Day cards! The details of the classes are below. Please note that I have added a third day for the class to help accommodate those that can't make it on a Monday or Wednesday evening. There are two evening choices now!

For this class we will be colouring in three different ways; sponging, watercolouring, & Stampin' Write Markers. We will also be heat embossing an entire background with clear embossing powder and doing just a little fussy cutting to bring dimension to a couple of animals.  This is a great stamp set to create a number of masculine cards with.
