Onstage Make & Take #3 - Sneak Peek

With Valentines Days soon following Christmas, one of our Make & Takes at OnStage Vancouver was three little 3 x 3 note cards or tags.

My favorite part of these little cards was using the little tiny envelope die! Just love it! There is a little die cut card to insert into it too. This is something fun not only for card making, but for scrapbooking and mini albums too. There is a wonderful bundle found on page 14 in the new 2017 Occasions Catalogue. There are 14 little dies and the stamp set "Selected With Love" has 27 little stamps! This can be used for many other occasions besides Valentines.

Here are the three little cards we made.

Here they are individually.

This first one you can see the little die cut Glassine envelope I mentioned earlier, with the little card tucked inside. Isn't it just darling!

On this card you can see one of the die cut hearts and arrow (two to choose from) and one of the wood element embellishments.

This card shows the other die cut arrow.

I can hardly wait for you to see the entire bundle! I know you are just going to love it!

Be sure to check in tomorrow, with one more OnStage Make & Take project for me to share with you. There are two posts for today, and you don't want to miss the second one announcing all the incredible deals starting on November 21st!

Happy creating!

Onstage Make & Take #2 - Sneak Peek

Today I am continuing on with my Onstage Make & Takes Sneak Peek. This card was created by our very own Seashore Stampers leader and demonstrated in front of everyone at Onstage Vancouver! She did such a wonderful job with her presentation.

This card samples the beautiful new "Falling in Love" DSP (page 51 in 2017 Occasions) and the gorgeous "So Detailed" thinlit dies (page 52 in 2017 Occasions). All of the DSP has Bokeh photo images on one side (as seen here) with a design pattern on the other, and the thinlits are three. With the one used here, a belly band was created for the card.

The lovely Very Vanilla ribbon and the Very Vanilla charm are also a great embellishment that will be available in the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.

Next you can see the card closer up.

...and here is the card without the delicate belly band, showing you the beautiful colours of this bokeh  photo print.

The belly band always reminds me of a wedding, looking a little like the bride's garter.

Be sure to check these out when you get your 2017 Occasions Catalogue.

See you tomorrow with another Onstage Make & Take card.

Happy Creating!

Dream Theme Blog Hop - Small GIfts

Welcome from Renate Ecklmayr's blog in our Dream Theme International Blog Hop! Hope you are enjoying all the wonderful creations made so far.

As you probably know by now, today's theme is "small gifts". I decided to see if I could make a masculine small gift box. I went to find some small gift giving items one might give to a man (or older teenager) and found a small foam shaving canister, and a small masculine shampoo. I was thinking of a third item, but couldn't find one without running to several stores. So I left it at that.

Ever since I made my Pretty Pines Christmas card in Early Espresso and copper, I have loved the colour combination. So I thought this gift box would be the perfect opportunity to use it again.  The gift box measures 5 1/4"w x 3 1/2" d x1 7/8"h.

Behind the circle closure, or I should between the layers, is a magnet to help secure the box lid in position.

Here, in this next photo, you see the contents, with an empty little section. That section is for little treats, I just didn't have any on hand when taking the photos.

With everything out of the box, below, you can see the division of the box. If this would be a feminine version, you might want to place the largest oval die cut in silver, as a faux mirror, into the lid of the box. You can kind of see a bit of a gap in the front center where the lip of the box is; that is where the other magnet is placed.

When the items are used or placed somewhere else, this box would look lovely on any dresser, night stand, or even in the living room, to hold other items such as a watch,  money clip & cuff-links, or just some treats.

Now it's time check out what the talented Jennifer Pauli has created for your inspiration!

Onstage Make & Take #1 - Sneak Peek

Hello everyone! Hope you week is off to a good start. I promised I would get back to with more about my first Onstage experience in Vancouver.

At this event we were shown the New 2017 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogues, and were given kits of Make & Takes using new product. Of course, with that many people working on these Make & Takes, there isn't enough time to get these projects completed. So we all do the die cutting and stamping or colouring and then take them home to complete. I finally got the chance to complete mine. So for the rest of the week I will be posting them for you.

The first card I'm showing is not so much about the outside, but what's on the inside! (which can be found on page 5 of your 2017 Occasions Catalogue, once you get it)

It's called the "Balloon Pop-Up Thinlit. But before I go to show you the inside, there is also the Bundle available which includes the "Balloon Adventures" stamp set. That is what we used on both the outside and inside of the card.

For the inside...

Ta da! A balloon Pop-Up!

So, if you are interested in this be sure to check out pages 4 & 5 when you get your catalogue.

Tomorrow, this sharing of Onstage Make & Takes will be on hold for one one day, because it is the third Wednesday, which means the Dream Theme International Blog Hop! Check it out, and then Thursday we will continue with the sharing of the Onstage Make & Takes.

Happy creating!
