Wonderful Year & Flurry of Wishes

Continuing to share cards made for the "Wonderful Year" card class, today. Again this is a quick and easy card to create, and it's nice and flat for mailing. The ink resist technique is always gives you a beautiful card, and if you make a number of them at a time, always gives you colourful fingers, too. lol

...and on the inside, I stamped a tree for the "Totally Trees" stamp set along with a sentiment from the "Wonderful Year" set.

You will have to excuse the lack of words for these scheduled posts, but I am so very busy at the moment and I'm also getting ready for a big Stampin' Up! event in Vancouver over this next weekend. So, I'm hoping that seeing the cards for this class is enough.

Thoughtful Branches Bundle - Limited Edition for Aug - Christmas in July

About a seek ago I received my Limited Edition Bundle, Thoughtful Branches (details at the bottom of this blog). My first thought was that I could make Christmas Cards using this set/bundle. Many card makers like to start making their Christmas cards in July. So if you are one of those, here is a little inspiration.

Next is a close up of the sponged scene. Aren't those Layering Dies just wonderful! So glad Stampin' Up now has them. The Silver Metallic Ribbon and the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper die cut leaves from this set add a lovely winter feel.

The die cut circle is the only thing that has been popped up with dimensionals.

For the inside I just second stamped the trees in Dapper Denim (a little on the crooked side, however). Love those 1/16" borders of Silver Foil....

So here you have a fairly simple Christmas card that can easily be set up for mass production if you so choose.

I will have another card for you tomorrow (if I can finish it after the class I teach today) using this Bundle and The Wilderness Awaits.
