You've Got This - Chocolate Chip

How does one take a flower stamp, not colour it in, and make it look more masculine? I'm sure if I played around a bit more with the idea, I might come up with something more, but this one needed to be quick & easy for the class as well. So this is it.

A little different style for me using the Gorgeous Grunge spots; almost looks like I spilled Hot Chocolate on my card. And it's always fun to have an opportunity to stamp on DSP.

The photo above shows that the tag is popped up.

I left the inside without stamps because I wanted the flower to the the main stamp on this card without the Grunge splatter. But, flowers alone inside would make the card a little too feminine. So, I left it as is.

You've seen some previous cards using this stamp set where I made a flower wreath,  but they were a little too detailed to make in a class.

Still busy working away on a couple of larger projects, but I did make this card a while back. I may have this card for a future class. Not sure yet, but you can have a look at it while I work away.

I believe it is Teneale Williams that designed this card that I cased from Pinterest. I just changed a couple of small things on mine.

You've Got This - Touch of So Saffron

Have you ever miscalculated something making a card? For this one it was the banner, it's too short. But because I was in a hurry to get all these cards completed and posted before my family arrives, I didn't take the time to correct it.
Again, I used the Stampin' Write markers. This time it is So Saffron, and a blender pen.

I love the new DSP stack patterns.

You can tell that I didn't have even a scrap of So Saffron cardstock left and had to use another yellow. I have it on my order list now.

I used the background stamp of this set to stamp the edges of the inside.

You've Got This - Flower Wreath

Hello Everyone!

Showing you another "You've Got It Made" card using the Stampin' Write Markers and Blender Pen. (To see what colours I used see below) I cut just the flower out and created a wreath of sorts with them. Decided to offset the colours by matting them with black, a golden yellow, and a purple (again see colours below).     

I used the banner punch to create the little banner  and used the sentiment from "And Many More".

Above you can see the layering and where I wrapped the ribbon around.
And Below you see the inside of the card.

HAPPY CANADA DAY! & You've Got This - Cased

HAPPY CANADA DAY! To all Canadians... I have family visiting, so things couldn't be happier. Of course with family here I've scheduled all my posts. 

I've started to share with you cards that I've made using the new stamp set "You've Got This".  I cased this card off of Pinterest Created by Joanne James because I couldn't resist. It's the colours and simplicity are what appealed to me.

Silver heat embossing on velum and then colouring using the Stampin' Write Marker in Blackberry Bliss with a blending pen is what I did here.

  
I might make a few more like this and maybe try different colours.

Here's the inside. I just used the background stamp included in this set, just using a section of it at a slight angle.

You've Got This - Ink Resist & Sponging

Sometimes blending several colours together to get the effect you want can be a little challenge. But if you are willing to try it out on scraps and experiment a little you can surprise yourself. For this card I combined several layers, each one covering less and less area. But it wasn't until I applied the last colour, Tip Top Taupe,  that it all came together for this Ink Resist card.

For the inside I used a lighter, softer touch with the colours and second stamped the sentiment inside breaking it in half rather than full on to look like it was a part of a vertical text pattern.
