Another Easy "Home For Christmas" DSP Card

I still have some scraps of "Home For Christmas" DSP from classes and other cards made, so I want to use them up. I have enough to make a few more cards which you will see from time to time till Christmas.

I really love the "Versatile Christmas" stamp set, and sets like this, that have some larger sentiments, are great to use along with DSP cards.

The added gold sparkle of the Gold Cord Trim and Gold Glimmer Paper, are such a nice pop of Christmas glitter for this card.

You can see the layering in the next photo.

...and as you will see below, for the sentiment, I decided to stamp it in the bottom right corner which often is blank after writing in the card, and it won't interfere in the middle of your writing.

If you wish to have a mass producing kind of card this one is a great one for that.

Here are the measurements -
Outside
Mossy Meadow Base - 4 1/4" x 11" (Score at 5 1/2")
Very Vanilla - 5 1/4" w x 4" h
DSP - 5" w x 3 3/4"h
Very Vanilla - 4 3/8" w x 3 1/8" h
DSP - 4 1/4"w x 3" h
Real Red - 3 5/8" w x 1 3/8"h
Gold Glimmer - 3 5/8" w x 1/2" h
Inside
DSP - 5 1/4" w x 4" h
Very Vanilla - 5" w x 3 3/4"h

Just cut all the pieces, form assembly piles, and create your mass of Christmas Cards!

Have Fun!

Home For Christmas DSP Cards - #4, 5 & 6

There is a lot to share with you over the next few days, so instead of showing you the details of each card individually in each post, I've decided to reveal them three at a time. To keep the posts from getting too long because of that, I will only be showing you a single outside shot of each card. The inside will be revealed to those that sign up for the class.

This first card uses two of the DSP, one as a background, and the other for the Poinsettias.

A little Gold Cord Trim and a doily helps to set things off beautifully.

Next is a card with a fair bit of fussy cutting. It's all the gifts that take the time, but well worth the effort.

Lots of different layering on this card.

The last and sixth of the cards is created using two DSPs again. The Silent Night music for the background and fussy cut ornaments from the other.

Using the black and cream colours of the music paper creates a wonderful backdrop to pop the ornament colours.

Home For Christmas DSP Cards - #1, 2 & 3

There is a lot to share with you over the next few days, so instead of showing you the details of each card individually in each post, I've decided to reveal them three at a time. To keep the posts from getting too long because of that, I will only be showing you a single outside shot of each card. The inside will be revealed to those that sign up for the class.

For this first card, I fussy cut some of the buildings and trees. The snowy landscape is created by tearing a piece of Whisper White cardstock and smearing Dazzling Diamonds on the torn part. I then created a layered scene by using a single or double layer of Dimensionals.

Here is what I used int he making of this card.

Next is this sweet Reindeer card.

A very simple card, but very effective. I fussy cut a couple of Reindeer and popped them up over the sentiment. Inside I have one that is laying down in the the lower right corner

What I used to create this card.

...And the third card for today.

I used my 2" circle punch to get this image, and used the circle dies to mat it, and create the Silver Glimmer Paper ring. The red banner is positioned under the doily while the white one is placed over the doily and ring and then positioning the matted image over top.

Hope you enjoyed my creations and are inspired to use elements already in your DSP to create cards. See you at class!

 Happy Stamping!

scissors, double sided adhesive, & dimensionals/pop dots. If you wish to bring your own Christmas sentiment stamps you will also need to bring clear stamping blocks for them. I will provide Stamping ink pads, and a variety of Christmas sentiments for you to use in class.
