Farewell Sale-A-Bration - Flowering Fields

Breaking the Number of Years Bundle Series, I'm saying good-bye to Sale-A-Bration. Today is the last day to order and get free items from Sale-A-Bration for every $60 you spend. And don't forget to check the Clearance and Weekly Deals when ordering!

One of my favorite Sale-A-Bration items is the "Flowering Fields" stamp set which I used to create  a quick Easter card with. I didn't post it for Easter because I was saving it for today's farewell to Sale-A-Bration. I also used Sale-A-Bration's "Wildflower Fields" DSP.

I used Archival Basic Gray to stamp the image and my Aqua Painters to colour in the flowers.

Just one popped up layer, as you can see in the image below.

You will note that I used last year's stamp set for the sentiments. The only other Easter sentiment I have, that is current, was to small to use on this card, so I had to go to my retired sets. I love how the inside turned out!

If you don't have this set yet and would like to have it, today is the last day you can get it (with a $60 order). Below are links to the two Sale-A-Bration brochures.

Below is a list of product I used to make this card with.

Thank you for checking in today and hope that will have some time today to do a little stamping and creating!

Number of Years & Large Numbers Bundle - Part 3

Ella is my youngest grand-daughter, so I had to add a little pop of pink to this card for her, and did that by using the "It's My Party Enamel Dots".  Adding the little Linen Thread bow around the number, also contributed a little femininity to the card. I think she will love those dots!

I highly recommend using the 'Stamp-a-ma-jig' (101049) for doing a background stamping of a number.

I had to curve the 'Look Who's Turning' stamp just a tiny bit more as I applied it to the stamp block, so that it would fit the circle die cut better. It's easily enough done. I love how the ring turned out with the stamping on it (even though the stamping isn't perfect).

You can see how I worked the layering of this card, below, in the side view.

On the inside, I was able to add some of those same Enamel Dots, as they are flat enough to use on the in side. And a little stamping, too.

So there you have Ella's card. I still have more grandchildren birthday cards to show you using the 'Number of Years' Bundle, but I may break up sharing them with you with other projects in between; not sure yet. You can see the product list below. Love using this bundle, and can see using it for an album, Project life, or scrapbooking, too.

Thank you for stopping by today. Happy stamping!

Number of Years & Large Numbers Bundle - Part 2

On Monday, I mentioned that I was creating my grand children's birthday cards. This one is for Averi, who will be turning 9 this summer! Where does the time go? I remember holding her in my arms as infant just yesterday it seems!

First I want to mention that this may be the first time I used three layers to frame the DSP, It just didn't look right when I tried using less. So if you want to case this card, you might feel that you can get away with fewer layers.

I just had to fussy cut the flowers from the Birthday Bouquet DSP. You can also see that I used the lovely glitter tape from the Sale-A-Bration sales! After the 31st, you can no longer earn this free item. I coloured this piece with my "Stampin' Write Blushing Bride Marker"!

Here's a closer look.

And a side view...

For the inside I second stamped (off stamped first) the number 9. I wanted it to be lighter, and this time it didn't work out as well as it usually does. But Averi won't notice...

So that's it for Averi's card, and I have to say again how much this is a great stamp set to have. I've already started make other cards using this stamp set, after finishing most of the grandchildren's cards, and I can hardly wait for you to see them too.

If you are wondering what I used to make this card with, the list is below.

Happy stamping everyone!
