Onstage #5 - Sneak Peek - Special Reason

No more Make & Takes to share with you, but we did win some lovely stamp sets! I did find the time to make a card using one of those sets.So this is a Sneak Peek of my own.

Now this stamp set does come in a Bundle with dies, and can be found on page 42 when you get your new 2017 Occasions Catalogue. We did not win the die set, but the stamp set is a lovely one to create with. And I have to thank Mi Ran for switching prizes with me.

'Special Reason' is the name of this set and it includes some sentiments for birthday, congrats, and friendship.

In this close up below, you can see that I did the following: masking, water spritzed stamp, used my Stampin' Write Markers, and flicked my Clear Wink of Stella. I will be showing you haw to do this in a class in the new year.

In the photo below, you can better see the wink and glimmer of my Wink of Stella flicking.

Next, you can see two layers that are popped up with dimensionals.

Onstage Make & Take #3 - Sneak Peek

With Valentines Days soon following Christmas, one of our Make & Takes at OnStage Vancouver was three little 3 x 3 note cards or tags.

My favorite part of these little cards was using the little tiny envelope die! Just love it! There is a little die cut card to insert into it too. This is something fun not only for card making, but for scrapbooking and mini albums too. There is a wonderful bundle found on page 14 in the new 2017 Occasions Catalogue. There are 14 little dies and the stamp set "Selected With Love" has 27 little stamps! This can be used for many other occasions besides Valentines.

This first one you can see the little die cut Glassine envelope I mentioned earlier, with the little card tucked inside. Isn't it just darling!

On this card you can see one of the die cut hearts and arrow (two to choose from) and one of the wood element embellishments.

This card shows the other die cut arrow.

I can hardly wait for you to see the entire bundle! I know you are just going to love it!

Shop the Holiday Catalogue Tomorrow!

Hello everyone!

It's a big day tomorrow! Tomorrow you can start shopping from the 2016 Holiday Catalogue! Some of you are itching to get the new Holiday products to begin preparing for all your Holiday needs, and tomorrow you can!

I have been able to get some of the product available from the new 2016 Holiday Catalogue and have showed you a few things made from them. I still have more that I haven't used yet but will have some new things to share with you over the next couple of months.

2016 Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peek - Totally Trees

I have missed blogging my creations for you. I've been so busy with unexpected happenings that I haven't had the time. I'm back today, however, and hope that I can get more posts going for you.

Today is another Sneak Peek of a stamp set from the 2016 Holiday Catalogue. You'll love this one. It is a two step set that create a variety of trees and includes a rising or setting sun and a ground strip. What I really like about these trees is that some of them can be used as leaves if you wanted to. I still haven't made that card yet, but hope to get to it soon.

I have made three cards so far (just didn't get to post ting them) and as you have seen I love the new copper products. So, today's card is using some of that. This makes a great contemporary or masculine card.

As you can see in the photo below, the tree trunks are heat embossed in copper and the leaves are off stamped or second stamped in Island Indigo. The tree leaves stamp I stamped twice to fill up the tree better. I used the 1/8" punch to punch out tiny circles from the copper foil cardstock scraps. I love the little circles of Copper Metallic thread as well.

And, surprise! No dimesnionals used in the making of this card, so it makes a great mailing card.

To give you an idea what tress are all in the set, here is a photo of the stamp set. Great fun to be had with this set! As a matter of fact, watch for a Fall class coming soon using this set!
