Our family has many people to thank for their part in my Mom's funeral. So it is time to sit down and create some thank you cards. Sill not quite in a creative mood, but was able to come up with this card design. To create multiples, it is easy to sit and do background stamping and a lot of die cutting. I used one background stamp (World of Thanks) and three main die sets (Oval Framelits, Birds, Blooms Thinlits, &Beautiful Branches Thinlits (Limited Edition for August).
With my parents coming from Germany I found it amazing upon completion of this card that "Thank You" and "Danke" were the main words showing on this card.
In the close up below, you will see that I inked the top portion of the die cut bird. The Die Brush is a great tool for both the bird and the leaf stem used for this card. I love the Burlap Ribbon!
Both the oval and the bird are popped up with dimensionals, as seen in the photo below.
Again, I kept the inside fairly simple, and stamped the sentiment from the "Thoughtful Branches" Limited Edition stamp set available in August only.
