My Open House & Paper Pumpkin Event

I have been busy all last week getting ready for my Open House & Paper Pumpkin Event held yesterday. It was a very long day, but very enjoyable. It was great to meet some new people and share my love of creating!

This time I made some display boards using those science fair boards you can pick up at the dollar stores.

 This was my Paper Pumpkin display. Many enjoyed seeing what was all included in the kits for such a great price! I had some beautiful cards packaged in twos, with a bow and a lovely tag to give to all who signed up for the great Paper Pumpkin deal going on until June 10th. Still open for any that would like to try the convenience and fun of Paper Pumpkin!

This was my New Catalogue display. I showed the new In-Colours, had a couple of cards made with two of the colours, and two cards displaying the new Hostess stamp sets, as well as the bags and boxes I made with the new Gift Bag Punch Board.

And this was the Sign Up Display section. I look forward to the classes I will be teaching! Thank you to those that signed up! It was quite the task to plan a the classes through to end of September, but it feels good to have a plan to follow.

This was the table where I sat to answer questions, book classes and workshop parties, as well as the red table for the Paper Pumpkin Make & Takes.

Thank You So Much

I hope that you aren't getting tired of hearing about the Stampin' Up Nanaimo Fall Conference, but this might be the last mention of it. I wanted to thank Calgary headquarters for holding the conference here on the Island and for their generosity. So, I made Dale and Carrie a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" "Thank You" card.

I really loved being able to stamp the flowers and then punch them out with the Pansy punch! I only had to fussy cut the leaves form the Stippled Flowers stamp set.

Colours are Lost Lagoon, So Saffron, and Wild Wasabi (cardstock & ink). The DSP is from the All Abloom DSP paper stack.

The extra stamped flower I attached inside after taking the photos. Below you can find what I used in the making of this card.
