One of the things I love to do for cardmaking is ink blending! This beautiful night sky works so well with the fun Sleigh Ride Edgelits.
I love how the sentiments from "Jingle All the Way" are slightly curved to sync with the curves of the die cuts.
I really love the dark rich colours of the card above, but I also love light, airy and delicate colours as with this next card.
This next card is using the negative space to create the image.
The positive part can be used for another card! Waste not, want not. (This doesn't work with the sleigh edgelit though)
This next card is also a fun idea; sponge colouring the die cut images above the ground level!
In addition I did use a Stampin' Write Marker on the trees though. The sentiment on this card does not come from Jingle All the Way however, but from the Hostess stamp set "Antique Tags" which coordinates with the Washi Punch.
For this last card in the class, we use the negative die cuts as a stencil and sponge ink the images.
I can imagine using this idea in many different colours, can you?
Thank you for checking today's posting of these cards, and I hope you are inspired to create with this wonderful Bundle.
Happy Stamping and creating!
