High Tide Gift Set - Possible Class

Hello everyone! I just had to make another of my DIY cardstock frames! I finally got my "High Tide" stamp set about 10 days ago, and just had to use it in a frame!

I didn't have any 12 x 12 Crumb Cake however, so I made the frame out of Basic Black, and then cut strips of Crumb Cake to add to the frame. If I had had Night of Navy in 12 x 12, I would have chosen that colour.

And the card I cased from Heidi Baks. She used an older stamp set than this one.

And here is the inside...

Now, I want to know from my customers and friends here in Victoria, if you are interested in creating these projects in a class? Or do you only wish to make cards? Please let me know in a comment below (or email me, but leaving a comment keeps it all together).

I had so much fun making this! And I know you will too.

Happy stamping and creating!

"Beautiful You" Card #1

OK, with two blogs to keep up with two different teaching situations, and trying to create the projects in advance for advertising and sign up time, I'm very busy and already falling a little behind in getting my posts out regularly.

You are probably getting an overload of the 'Beautiful You' stamp set from me. If you are, there will be other postings coming soon, but I am posting these because I recently posted about the class, and I'm not tired of them yet, lol.

This is the first card of the class, and is one that I cased from Juana Ambida. Thank you, Juana, everyone loves your card!

For the inside of the card, I just sponged the same colours as I did on the front.

Looking forward to teaching everyone in class how to use the new Watercolour Pencils! See you there!

Happy Stamping!

Dream Theme International Blog Hop - Sealed With Love Bundle - Occasions 2017

Welcome from Renate's blog! Have you seen some wonderful creations so far?

I used to just love Valentines Day when the children were growing up. I would do things like tie helium Valentine balloons onto their kitchen table chairs, make a cake, arrange some fun Valentine activities, buy them cards (before I got into this line of creativity), etc. Now they are all grown up with families of their own, so I don't do all those things any more, but I do love making the cards for my blog, because it always brings back those wonderful memories.

So, here is the card I am sharing with you today. I used the "Sealed With Love" Bundle in the 2017 Occasions catalogue.

The inside of the card, I used my Stampin' Write Markers to alternate colours on the line of hearts.

This bundle is so very fun to work with! It has so many parts that lead the imagination to many wonderful and fun Valentine ideas!

If you missed the previous blog...

Hope you are enjoying the hop and inspiration collected along the way. Be sure to leave everyone with some love as you go from blog to blog.

Happy creating!

Onstage Make & Take #2 - Sneak Peek

Today I am continuing on with my Onstage Make & Takes Sneak Peek. This card was created by our very own Seashore Stampers leader and demonstrated in front of everyone at Onstage Vancouver! She did such a wonderful job with her presentation.

This card samples the beautiful new "Falling in Love" DSP (page 51 in 2017 Occasions) and the gorgeous "So Detailed" thinlit dies (page 52 in 2017 Occasions). All of the DSP has Bokeh photo images on one side (as seen here) with a design pattern on the other, and the thinlits are three. With the one used here, a belly band was created for the card.

The lovely Very Vanilla ribbon and the Very Vanilla charm are also a great embellishment that will be available in the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.

Next you can see the card closer up.

...and here is the card without the delicate belly band, showing you the beautiful colours of this bokeh  photo print.

The belly band always reminds me of a wedding, looking a little like the bride's garter.

Be sure to check these out when you get your 2017 Occasions Catalogue.

See you tomorrow with another Onstage Make & Take card.

Happy Creating!
