Class #1

COTTAGE GREETINGS CARD KIT

Saturday, September 19th

Kit Only - $28.00
Kit & Stamp Set - $48.00



This kit makes 15 cards: 5 each of 3 designs (Birthday, Thanks, & Congrats). Folded size is 5" x 5". The kit includes card bases, envelopes, silver foil envelope liners, die-cut paper & foil images, baker's twine, wood veneer sheets, enamel dots and Stampin' Dimensionals. A great set of cards to have on hand, or to give as a gift! All you have to do is Stamp your sentiments and assemble! I will have the stamp set there for you to use if you do not order the stamps. You will however, have to share.

This kit make 10 cute boxes measuring 4: x 2 5/8" x 2 1/8". Everything is included in this kit except for the stamp set which you can purchase in time for class, and I will also provide mine share in class.

Cost - $50.00 (includes Moments Like These card kit, accessories, stamp set & 12 assorted pocket pages for pocket scrapbookers or 12 of 12 x 12 cardstock/Designer Series Paper for traditional scrapbookers)

This will be a great scrapbooking class for both pocket and traditional scrapbookers. I will have samples for both styles available for you to pick and choose from and which you can case (use for inspiration or copy). As soon as I have completed the samples they will be posted on the blog.

Get those Summer photos done before you end up with your Fall & Thanksgiving photos!

Weekly Deals & My June Paper Pumpkin Creations!

I'm going to begin today's post with My June Paper Pumpkin Creations! The Weekly deals are further down. I was so excited to receive My Paper Pumpkin on Tuesday last week!

To the left you see the instructions that came with the kit.


I decided that I would make one of each of the two cards as instructed, and then get creative with the rest of the kit.

I also stamped a little on the envelopes.

 

As you can see, I didn't quite keep to the illustrated instructions, but very close to it. The star stamp happens to fit very nicely around the 'Itty Bitty Accents Star Punch', so I had to try. And with the banner card I just had to ink the edges to take away from the starkness of the white.

So here are my own creations using the kit.

  

So now I had one of each card base and envelope left, along with most of the stickers and wood veneer banners. Then the idea came to me that a person could make a little wallet sized photo folio with it all!

I made a chain with the jute string included in the kit using my fingers. I did this so that it would be a thicker single piece (rather than wrapping it around several times and coming undone when it is taken off) and there would be a little give to it for the purpose pf replacing it again.

 

In the end I did not use the regular envelope and kept it out. This is what I ended up having left over.

That's a real cute stamp set! I will plan to use it in the future.

Perpetual Calendar - Class 1 - April 11

CLASS CANCELLED

On Saturday, April 11th, I will have three classes! Two of these classes will be using some fun project kits from Stampin' Up, and the other will be a card class.

This is the schedule for that day.

Class 1 - Perpetual Birthday Calendar Project Kit - 9:30 am to 12 noon - $55.00 (this includes the kit and the stamps set with no shipping and taxes for you when you take the class!)
Class 2 - Cards - 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Class 3 - So You (mini album) Project Kit - 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Today, I will be showing you the Perpetual Calendar Project Kit as I made it. All Kits come with instructions, but you can always use everything in the kit the way you want to! This kit even comes with a storage box or a gift box!

This is the image from the Stampin' Up Occasions Catalogue that shows you everything you get in the kit!

Alphabet stickers (you'll have a ton left over for other projects), coloured Sequins, Sequin twine, glitter, glitter banner punch outs, a variety of punch out shapes (love the feathers), 4 sheets of little heart and star stickers, Ribbon, Baker's Twine, a Gold Clip, distress sponge, the clip board and the box with a label!

You can see that I also used my "Decorative Label" punch for three of my months.

 I used the little stickers to mark the days of Family Birthdays.

I had such a blast stamping away and creating my month headers for this calendar, and know that you will too. I love the stamp set, because you can use them for any number of projects which include card making and scrapbooking! It's a very versatile stamp set!
