Welcome from Renate's blog! I was super excited to be asked to be a part of the international Dream Theme Blog Hop Team! Everyone on the team is so very talented, and I'm looking forward to sharing their creations, along with mine, with each new Blog Hop posting!
The theme for our first blog hop post is Christmas. I wanted to created something other than a card for you, but then I finally got my "Lovely as a Tree" stamp set! I've been a Demonstrator for nearly 2 years, and was finally able to get it. So, to some of you this may be old hat, but because it is new to me, I am very excited to use it.
Because my idea needed a bigger canvas to work on, I created my first 5" x 7" card in a very long time. I love to create all white, or nearly all white cards, and that was my plan for today's card.
I took one entire sheet of Whisper White and heat embossed 16 trees. (some for future cards) I sponged Pear Pizzazz ink randomly, not wanting to cover the entire tree, to give just a hint of colour.
You can see the scene created, more closely in the next photo.
As you can see I also paper pierced around the edge of the Pear Pizzazz mat. I created a raised boarder by cutting 1/8" strips and made a frame with them. Also recently new to me is the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits, which I used for the hilly ground for the trees, and for the backing of the Glimmer Paper star.
I did not know whether to stamp a small sentiment on the Pear Pizzazz space at the bottom, or attach a bow. As you can see I decided to go with a bow made with Whisper White twine.
I usually like to stamp a little something on the inside of the card, besides a sentiment.
I know that you are going to love all the other creations, so be sure to check them out and leave them a little comment & hug.

So beautiful! Thank you for sharing all of the details!
What a lovely card, Sabrina. This is still one of my favourite sets.
I love the crisp look of your card !
Love the subtle color combination and that little 3D star finishes it off perfectly.
