A Thousand Thanks

I have had so many wonderful people helping me out while I was unable to do a lot with my chronic back pain. I wanted to thank them all for their thoughtfulness and willingness to help me out. So it was time to make a bunch of thank you cards! I'm able to sit a little longer now - about 20  - 25 minutes now! I actually made more than what you see here. I was able to make these a little at a time over a period of a few days.

It was the first time for me to use a layering stamp set. (Stippled Blossoms-126747) With some masking it didn't turn out too bad for my first attempt. Some have pearls, some have rhinestones, and a couple have the pink embroidery floss wrapped around the top. I was just playing around with some slightly different looks.

When stamping with the Strawberry Slush, I second stamped it to lighten the colour a little. I did the same with the leaves. One stamp I used the full ink on the stamp, and the filler stamp, I second stamped to make it lighter.

Here is a peek at the inside corner on this one.

This one has the floss and rhinestones on it.

The sentiment I used for these cards is from "Lots of Thanks" (129690). I have to chuckle a little when I see these cards, because I usually make cards with layers! This time it's just one popped up layer. Almost seems odd to me, but they turned out rather well for all those wonderful, thoughtful, and helpful people.

See below for the products used in the making of these cards.

Happy stamping!

I can certainly relate to chronic back pain. Isn't it a wonderful feeling to be able to sit again and do a little crafting. You are the first person I've come across who went through the same thing I did. If you ever want to chat, would love to hear from you! Also, this is the prettiest card I've ever seen using the Stippled Blossom stamp set, so so lovely!
